Annual Raffle

The annual WVAPSS raffle provides financial assistance to students across West Virginia in soil conservation pursuits. This includes support for the WVU Soils Team, as well as sponsorship of the WV Grassland Evaluation Contest and WV Envirothon. The prize available this year in the 2012 annual fundraising raffle is a West Virginia Lifetime Combination Hunting, Trapping and Fishing (Class AB-L). The winner may choose to receive either an adult license, which has a value of $805.00, or and infant license, which has a value of $402.50.

  3. All taxes and related fees will be paid by WVAPSS.
  4. The winner will be notified by telephone. The winner will be required to complete an application, which is available from any DNR office or any license agent, and WVAPSS will pay the license fee (either $805.00 for an adult lifetime license, or $402.50 for an infant lifetime license).
  5. The winner can obtain the lifetime license in their name, or choose a friend or relative to receive the license.
